Soft Scrap Baler

Hydraulic baler for sheet, profiles and light non-ferrous scrap

Overview

What it is and where it works

A hydraulic baler that compresses light, bulky scrap such as sheet, profile offcuts and other soft alloys into dense bales. Baling cuts storage and freight volume and gives the furnace a uniform charge. It is used in recycling yards, extrusion and rolling plants and foundries that collect their own light scrap.

Buyer questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What delivery time should I plan for?

Lead time depends on the model and the factory's schedule. Our catalogue model is typically built in about 45 working days, plus ocean freight; we confirm the date in every quote.

What bale density does my buyer need?

It depends on the grade and the buyer; trade specifications differ, so confirm the required density and bale weight with your smelter before we size the machine.
