What it is and where it works
Alumina ceramic foam filters that trap oxides and inclusions as molten aluminium flows through, in the launder filter box or in the gating system. Pore size (ppi) sets filtration fineness and flow; plate size and gasket must match the filter bowl. We source to your size, ppi and gasket type.

Which ppi should I use?
Finer ppi captures smaller inclusions but lowers flow capacity; the choice depends on metal cleanliness required, flow rate and filter area. Send your current ppi and flow.
Do you supply filters with gasket?
Yes, plates can be supplied with or without an edge gasket to seal the filter in the bowl.
